1958 Ford Ranchero Additional Info:

This is a rare 1958 year Ranchero. There are several 1957's and '59's on the market for sale. Not very many '58's. This vehicle was sold new in Arkansas and spent its whole life there till 2012 when it came to Ohio. The original invoice for selling it new is included. It was stored in a barn only driven a few miles a year from '12 till this year. I purchased it and have driven it around 600 miles. It drives great, handles great and runs great. The original 292 engine hooked to the original 3spd transmission has plenty of get up and go.
Everything is original to this car except the paint. The original color is a mist green but was painted many years ago in Arkansas to this color of light tan to more match the interior. I don't believe there was any body work done. Just a color change. There are some battle scars to the paint now but it still presents itself well. As you can see in the bed, it is in good shape but does need some repair to two spots, one on each side near the front of the fender well and going towards the center. This is a matter of cutting out the bad which consists of about a 1"X 6" piece. There is a seam there.
The bright work such as bumpers and side trim are original. The rear bumper is not as shiny and has some scratches but still original.
All of the glass is good. The interior is almost all original. I replaced the door and window handles. It is a radio delete car and being in Arkansas it was a heater delete but a small Ford heater was installed afterward.
The car has a new single line master cylinder and a new fuel pump. Everything else under the hood is original. All gauges work, windows roll up and down. This car gets a lot of attention when I drive it. Whether it is the color, or the Plane Jane looks, people are attracted to it. You just don't see many old Ranchero's and even less 1958's. I purchased it on a Tuesday, took it home, cleaned it up, took it to a car show on Sunday and won a top 40 award.
The winning bid will need to put $500 nonrefundable deposit payable to my PayPal account and balance in cash or company check on pickup. If check then the car won't be released until check clears. There is no warranty or guarantee implied on this vehicle. If you have any questions feel free to send me a message. I will try to answer to the best of my knowledge.
