1966 Ford F-100 Red Additional Info:
This truck is an older, well loved but treated with respect piece of machinery. It's drive-able as is, not mechanical work needed to maintain its reliability. And she is super reliable. She starts right up, runs clean and strong, carbs clean and geared just a tad rich to keep from straining the choke. 4 speed on the floor, convert from 3 on the tree. Interior was redone and not to stock but very tastefully. All electronics are in good working order, original dash, wheel, body etc. All glass is in perfect shape, do marks or chips. Bumper is patina'd along with normal wear and tear on the body and paint. I built the wooden tailgate walls for appeal, Very solid and removable.
Original owner decided to spray line the truck bed to inhibit further rust growth. It worked in concept bit it takes away from its really stong sense of stock appeal. What can you do though. Drivers side door handle only works on exterior though a matter of a latch inside the door. Also, drivers window is off track a bit and gets a little help when it reaches the top to make the seal.. Cab doesn't leak, smell like mildew or anything. This truck has been very well preserved considering its geographic history in the islands of NW Seattle and the hard work its performed hauling veggies from farm to farm its whole life.
