1993 Ford F-350 XLT Additional Info:
Probably about 10 years ago I bought this truck from an older gentleman in town here (he was the second owner). I had it repainted the original colors (exterior only), and my mother fell in love with it, so I gave it to her. This was, and still is an absolutely rust free California truck by the way. It hasn't also never been in a collision, it still retains all of its factory body panels. Fast foraward to about a year and a half ago, she gave it back to me because she really didn't have much use for it. I honestly don't use it more then a couple times a month at most, so it's time to sell this machine. I have too many vehicles, and it's just not getting used enough to justify keeping it.
Mechanically the truck is sound, and has the coveted 7.3l international V8 diesel engine in it. It started life new as a naturally aspirated diesel, and the original owner had the Hypermax Turbo System installed, along with the boost gauge, and pyrometer on the dash. Hypermax full exhaust system was also installed as well. It has ample power, and seems to get fairly decent mpgs. Automatic transmission was rebuilt about 25k miles ago, but the paper work is lost, it shifts great though, and doesn't leak. The truck cold starts like a new truck, glow the plugs, and it fires off perfectly every time. It also does not smoke, nor does it have excessive blow by. Over all mechanically it's a good truck. So everyone understands, this is not a powerstroke. This a mechanically injected 7.3l international diesel that was used in fords from 1988 to 1994 in different forms.
The truck is optioned nicely being an XLT, has all the power options, tilt, A/C that blows ice cold, and cruise. Cruise is not working at the moment, I've not looked into why. Rear windows are tinted as well. It has a carpeted dash mat, it's not there to hide cracks, it's been there since new. The pyro/boost gauge is mounted over it, so you'd have to take that off to remove the dash mat. Carpet is very nice, seats are in good shape, headliner is not sagging. Front seat is a 40/20/40 out of a 95', and is comfortable. It also has the folddown center arm rest with storage, and two cup holders. That is handy for sure. I did not change the seat, we acquired it that way. The plastic on the passenger side of the seat is missing, you'll need to source that if you want to replace that piece.
There are 5th wheel hitch mounts in the bed, they are solidly mounted to the frame. I have never used them, nor do I have an actual 5th wheel to go on it. It's a nice feature if you plan to tow an RV, or a Stock trailer. There is also a reviewer hitch bolted to the frame, and electric brake system on the truck that works well. The truck also has manual locking front hubs on the factory Dana 60 front straight axle. The after market drop bumper is a little bent on the corner(s), but still functions and looks fine in my opinion. There are various small dents, dings, and scratches. Although, the truck still does look beautiful over all, and smells good inside. It's never been smoked in, and has been well cared for. Tires are 85%, and are buckshot maxxis mud terrains. It has the Alcoa wheels from a 1995 F350 for a nicer look then the steel wheels it came with when new. Tool box comes with the truck, and it is currently registered, and tagged in the state of California in our name. Factory radio works great still, and the Stull cab steps will be staying on the truck along with the toolbox that is on it. The way you see it in the pictures is the way it comes.
