IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A GOOD LOOKING MUSTANG FASTBACK, THIS MAY BE THE ONE! The black paint has a brilliant shine, new black interior, rebuilt 351 Windsor engine, good shifting automatic transmission, disc brakes in front, new chrome, new American Racing wheels, power steering, runs and drives good. VIN on title and car is 0F02F148338 HOW MANY MILES ON THE CAR? It is reading 54,187 today, but probably has another 100,000 on it. Most everything is new or rebuilt. HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS...WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK, DRIVERS SIDE WORN SO YOU HAVE TO HOLD IT! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! INTERIOR SIDE LIGHTS WORK! GAS GAUGE WORKS! OIL GAUGE WORKS! TEMP GAUGE WORKS! PARKING BRAKE WORKS! WIPERS WORK! HEATER BLOWER WORKS! HORN WORKS! NEW GAS TANK! HOW IS THE BODY? Torque boxes nice, new floor pans, frame rails good, one quarter has been replaced. I consider this a very good body. HOW IS THE PAINT? I would consider it a very upper end driver, you have to look for a spec or defect. The paint is very slick and has a brilliant shine, no dents, no dings and no rust bubbles. It is a PPG brand paint, base black paint and clear top.
HOW IS THE INTERIOR? New seat covers, new door panels, new carpet, new step plates, dash pad is nice, new package tray, headliner is original with 2 defects (see pics). HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? The transmission is the large and tuff C6 automatic, its very good shifting 3 speed automatic with no slip. HOW ARE THE BRAKES? Disc in front and drums in rear. New disc pads, new wheels cylinders, new rubber hoses, not power, but stop good and straight with a little foot. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? To me it drives good, it is power steering with new control valve and cylinder. Some of the rubber bushing are original and have some cracks, but usable for a while. HOW IS THE ENGINE? Its a good running 351 Windsor, not original, but a perfect fit to replace the 302 the car was born with. Past owner said it had just been rebuilt, it has a nice loping cam, 4 barrel carburetor, big aluminum radiator and dressed out nice and clean. I hear no rattles or knocks and see no blue smoke. The exhaust is usable, but old, sounds good on the road, but a little quite at idle for a car with a loping cam. HOW ARE THE WHEELS AND TIRES? New American Racing Torque Thrust wheels with new tires. back tires are 215/70/15 and front 195/65/15. HOW IS THE CHROME? New bumpers, new door handles, new cobra emblems, new cobra gas cap, new tail light bezels, new window trim. HOW IS THE GLASS? New windshield, side windows decent, back window is original and has some scuffs and defects, but no cracks and it is not milky. HOW IS THE WEATHER STRIPPING? New door rubber, new roof rail rubber, new side window whiskers, new back window rubber. WHAT IS THE HISTORY? Can't tell you much, I bought it from a friend near Cincinnati, he bought it from a guy in Arkansas. The guy in Arkansas started having it restored and gave up on it after spending a load of money. 94 PICTURES ON THIS LISTING! WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Athens, Tennessee 37303. BOTTOM LINE: This is a nice car that has had a ton of money spent on it, it looks great, runs good and drives as good as Mustangs did. It is not perfect, it is not a roll out of the trailer Show Queen with a $30,000 paint job. The prices on these Fastbacks is crazy! In my opinion as a 72 year old car guy that was a auto mechanics instructor and Army helicopter mechanic, its not a rust bucket and its a decent car that looks great. Please come and look at it all you want to, I will be happy to sell it to you anyway, but don"t be a cry baby after you get it if you don't come inspect. Thank you, Ron Watson
