Clean VA title. Recent VA inspection, roadworthy, solid. Registered, insured. 100k on car and engine, pretty sure it’s close to correct. Manual steering, brakes, transmission.
Mild 390 with Comp 270H, pocket ported stock heads, Performer RPM intake. Pertronix ignition with wide Duraspark cap and rotor. Edelbrock aluminum water pump, heavy duty fuel pump. Aluminum radiator. Powermaster gear drive starter.
Brakes converted to dual circuit. Adjustable pressure on rear. Porterfield heavy duty street shoes. Drilled front drums (!, see CH Topping). Wheels are American Racing 15x7 with 225/60-HR15 tires in very good shape. No shakes, rattles, pulls, or anything funny when driving or stopping.
Recent moderate performance clutch with steel flywheel inside blowproof (but not dated) bellhousing. Original 3 speed manual 9 bolt toploader with hard to find aftermarket high end Hurst shifter. Rear has ex-Roush NASCAR 9” rear with nasty Detroit Locker that clicks like mad and pops some but works just great.
Subframe conectors
Interior good, may be original
Instruments work (except speedo/odo, recently broke) including all warning lights, converted clock, add-on oil pressure and water temp. I added an O2 sensor and gauge but the gauge is dead now as well.
Front suspension is redone, Global West upper a-arms with the 1” “Shelby Drop” relocation, heavy duty lowers, heavy duty strut rods all done. Stock front springs cut ½ coil, 1-1/8” sway bar. Oil filter relocated to clear sway bar. Spring clamps on front of rear part of rear springs. Relocated rear tire to convertible location, convertible cocktail shaker under right rear. Launches strong and clean. The thing actually handles halfway decently as well.
No significant rust or signs of prior major rust repair.
Problems
Heater coil leaks, bypassed
Minor rust around rear window
Hood dent (see pic)
Wrong grille (not from GT)
Cracked dash
Speedometer/odometer not working
O2 gauge not working
