The vin # shown is a typo and not the vin #. The VIN # is 6A40S190996, on the door tag, the radiator support and the original owner's manual.

Thank you all for your interest in the Fairlane. Since I listed it I have replied to 23 questions from interested parties. I don't have time to do that, so I want to invite anyone who is truly interested in buying or bidding on the car to have their mechanic, or hire a mechanic to come and check the car over. I think that is the best way to buy a car on Ebay. For those who are actual bidders and not just curious, I believe you know that is the best way to make sure the car is what you want to pay money for. Thank you all for your questions and interest. It's a very good original GTA Fairlane and I think is a good investment and fun to drive. Ed

Comparing my car to the other 66-67 Fairlanes listed here on Ebay, some are nice, but they are small blocks or replaced motors. Some of the big blocks are grossly overpriced in my opinion. I do not need to sell, so if my reserve price, which is below my buy it price is not met during this auction, I will simply keep the car.

There is a 66 Fairlane 427 side oiler here on Ebay listed at $279,000 which is stupid.I guarantee I can stroke this 390 engine to 445 cu.in and blow his ass off the track. This is the kind of crazy prices that are being asked.
