Selling our nice looking 1971 Thunderbird. Too many cars in our collection means the cars we drive least are being sold off.
1971 Thunderbird, under 72,000 miles ( it is driven sporadically so the mileage will go up a bit each week ).
429 v8, 4 bbl, fabulous sounding and running and driving car, with no leaks, drips or smoking that we have seen and it is sitting in our driveway. Very strong engine with lots of power.
Automatic transmission, power windows, power seats,power steering, power brakes, COLD air conditioning, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, am/fm radio. New dual aluminized exhaust system with resonators. Car sounds fabulous.
New vinyl top and headliner. Recent lubrication, oil and filter change, tune up, brake adjustments and overall safety check and all fluids flushed and refilled (including rear end, transmission, coolant, power steering fluid and brake fluid )
The car has no rust that we can see and the paint is shiny, with solid rockers, door jambs, floors and trunk. This is a nice driver quality car you can enjoy as is or detail for show if that is your thing. Photos show the underside asbest as we can get the pics but if you need more let us know.
From driving it over the past couple of weeks, the only things I have seen that do not work are the clock ( hardly a surprise in any old car ) , and a burned out dash turn signal bulb and that is it.
As this is a 47 year old used car, it is sold as is, where is with no warranties. You are welcome to see, inspect or drive the car prior to bidding or purchase but once you pay the deposit or buy the car, it is yours.
