1949 Ford Woody Wagon Custom SURFS UP DUDE!!! We have been doing the old car thing for a long time and we just rarely ever get to play with one of these. I know the work "icon" gets over used in this line of work, but let's face it, the late 49 Ford Woody Wagon is just that. This one is not only an icon but the quality and detail are fabulous. The black paint is nearly flawless and the... exterior wood looks like an 18th Century New England craftsman had did it all, just the other day. Look closely at the interior wood graining, it looks as real at the exterior wood maybe even nicer. The custom interior is very tasteful and expertly crafted also. The chrome and glass are superb and there is plenty of chrome on these babies. Not only does this one look stunning in it's velvet smooth Ebony Black paint but it drives better than any original 49 Ford could. The drive train has been updated with a newer GM V8 dressed up like it would have been in 1956 with Oldsmobile valve covers and an air breather that screams 50's Baby! The trans is a smooth shifting Turbo 350 that feeds the highway friendly 9 inch 3.00 rear end effortlessly. The body panels, floors and frame rails are all as solid as you could want. So, if heading for the beach, the club, or the grocery store arrive in style and be the coolest cat in the parking lot. Oh yea, we do have a surf board to go with it.
