Offering my 1979 Mustang Indy Pace car. I've had the car for about 7 years. I have made several modifications over the years. When i bought the car it had the original 2.3 turbo with a 4 speed transmission, which i still have and will go with the sale of the car. The car was very solid with no major rust issues. I had the car dustless blasted, re-primed and re-painted in the original factory colors about 4 years ago. It then sat in my shop until 2 years ago which is when I replaced the turbo motor with a perfect running 5.0 V8 with a manual 5 speed transmission out of a 1993 Mustang GT donor car. With the engine swap came many new parts such as alternator, starter, battery, new serpentine belt system, electric fan, etc,etc. I also bought new rims and tires, which gives the car an awesome stance. The car runs Great and is a Beast with that 5.0 engine because the car is so light. As you can see in the pictures I also have the rear window vent cover, which came with the car as well as shade cover for the sunroof. The interior needs some attention, I have all the parts and have a replacement drivers side mirror, which as you can see in the picture is not installed on drivers door, does not have a headliner, has the original recaro seats, dash is cracked on the passenger side under glovebox. This happened when dash was removed for gauges and engine swap. As i said mechanically the car runs great and with some time into the interior would be a sweet foxbody.
