Vintage Motorcars is proud to present this stunning 1941 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible.
The 1941 Ford Super Deluxe was totally redesigned to make them wider to maximize the interior space. The wheelbase was increased to 114 inches. Bigger was really better for Ford in 1941. Finished in stunning Ford color code M3927 Mayfair Maroon over a deep Burgundy bench seat interior; this pre-war Ford is an absolute eye catcher.
This rare Super Deluxe Convertible is an excellent example of a well-maintained, older restoration that has been handled with care over its entire life. This car spent most of its life in the salt-free Pacific Northwest, and didn't come to Wisconsin until March of 2016. Because of that; this classic Ford still retains all of its original (rust-free) sheetmetal. The paint was clearly done to a high standard when the car was restored, and has mellowed to a soft glow that looks like it is right out of the 40's. There are some minor chips from enjoying the car on the roadways of America, but nothing to get upset over. The chrome and brightwork were restored at the same time, and remains in excellent condition with only minor demerits. The black Hartz Cloth power convertible top looks like it has almost never been down, and shows absolutely no signs of tears, rips or holes. The matching black convertible boot cover is also in excellent shape and fits just the way it should.
The interior is absolutely stunning. The leather bench seat has clearly been redone, and shows virtually no wear to speak of. Everything within the interior of this car is in beautiful condition with no areas left for excuses. Behind the steering wheel you will find a complete set of fully functional instruments, and under the dash you will see the optional heater that was ordered with the car.
Under the hood lies what is to be believed to be the original Ford 221 flathead V8 that has been completely rebuilt, and runs just exactly like it should. Back in the early 40's; these were robust engines, and will cruise down our modern roadways with ease. The engine is mated to the original 3-speed manual transmission, and that also performs flawlessly.

Of course this classic is sitting on a set of painted steel Ford wheels wrapped in wide whites decorated with chrome hubcaps and beauty rings. Combine that with the operable fog lamps and bumper accessories, and this car will take you back in time.

This car is loaded with accessories; beautifully finished, and simply wonderful to drive.
