We are presenting this beautiful 1955 Ford Thunderbird with anolder nut and bolt frame-off restoration with few miles since completed. We have an album of pictures that document the restoration and a folder with tons of receipts from the project.Since restoration it was well cared for and keptindry storage. The paint shows well and gets major attention wherever it goes! There are afew blemishes from age, but the body, chassis and undercarriage are rock solid and rust free! Theinteriorof this car stands out from the rest, it is beautifully clean and correct! The engine turned trim isbright and clean, thepower seat works as it should, with good firm foam and clean, stain-free material. The door panels are clean, straight and problem free as well.There are some minor paint issues on the speedometer surroundin the pictures that will be corrected prior to sale and the ashtray is present and will be installed. Thetrunk area isas detailed and stunning as theinterior!The black soft top is in excellent condition with no rips, tears, or discoloration. The rear window is clean and clear. The car also comes with a red, later model "port-hole" hardtopthat is in good original condition.
Mechanically the car runs and drives well. The transmission shifts smooth, steering and brakes work excellent. Tires are in great shape, no cracking or flat spots. The original engine is in the process of a FRESH rebuild and will be all new at time of sale!! This is a great condition, turn-key, fresh and fun driver that will give you years of enjoyment!
