Custom built one of a kind 1928 Model A roadster. So all on this car has been built with somewhat Vintage Hot rodding in mind
The frame has been Zeed and in the rear dropped around 2 inches and the front lowered the same. All new bearings, seals, brakes, on the frame and drive train. I keep the original rod brakes that are attached to 39 pedal assembly. I am running the original Banjo rear along with a little fabrication to keep the original 28 rear shocks, the front shocks are aftermarket. This leads up to a rebuilt 36 3 speed trans with 11" truck clutch. The motor is a 1949 Flathead V-8 with OFFENHAUSER Heads, and dual intake with aftermarket 94s on it. The air cleaner is solid Mahogany hand build one of a kind. Witch leads to the body I don't think you will find another custom hand built in vintage marine fashion solid Mahogany body. The planks have been re-sawn and go up in the same order from the left side and the right and from the center board out left to right. All the planking has been steam bent and fastened with 5200 and screwed in traditional fashion and bunged. Sanded stain and finished with 12 coats of Swedish Epiphains marine varnish. Speaking of marine the steering box isout of a1950 Chris Craft. The windshied is a custom Bomber style or vintage race boat. The gauges are late model with a vintage look to them. So much to talk about I will post a few more pics of the inside of the hatch where the fuel cell is. Also the doors have original 1928 door locks and catches. I have had the car at a few shows this year and it blows every ones mind if your looking for a nice driving zip around town one of a kind car to show off in this is for you! I am sure I did not mention everything so I will answer your questions thanks The car can also bee seen in the November issue of Hot Rod Delux
