1956 Ford Thunderbird Additional Info:

I am selling this desirable 1956 Ford Thunderbird for a friend of mine who has always wanted one of these cherished cars but has found that after all of the improvements/corrections that he's made, its not easy for him to get in and out as he is a big guy. So he's decided to let someone else enjoy this dove gray classic. Improvements made to this car; All new interior (seat cover/foam, door panels, rugs, quarter cardboards, seat back, the transmission was rebuilt, all new brakes/w drums, battery, ignition items, original radio was professionally rebuilt, all gauges work with the exception of the clock (did they ever?).
What it might need; you certainly can drive this Thunderbird as it as its been made very reliable, however the paint in a number of areas has cracked and technically could use attention for show. Most all of the chrome has been either been replaced or re-plated. note: a few spots in the rear bumper down low, appear to have some rust developing but believe it could be polished up/out. Tires are appropriate style and with decent tread and the convertible top sits in its proper place behind the seat.

Closing: this car represents an opportunity to get behind the wheel of classic Thunderbird at a reasonable cost, while still leaving a few opportunities for improvement, good luck and please call steve at 201-314-1249 and i will try and answer any question you may have. We encourage you to schedule a time to view and drive it. Vehicle located in Bergen County New Jersey.
