This is a 1945 one and one half ton dually. This Ford has the original flat head 8. It has an early restoration that was done prior to me owning it. I just had new brakes, wheel cylinders, brake lines and wheel seals installed. It also has a new total vehicle wire harness. The truck runs fine and drives. The following is info I received from the Henry Ford Museum:
Thank you for your inquiry. Ford Motor Company did start building a limited number of civilian trucks in 1944. According to the production ledger in our collection (Accession #417, Box 15, Book #12, p. 161) your engine (#700569) was built on October 24, 1945. The prefix for your engine number should be "99T".
