1927 Ford Model T T-Roadster Additional Info:
The Hot Rod Coalition Roadster is in "Like New" Condition. It has less than 1,000 miles on the entire car. We worked out all the bugs already, now all this car needs in a new owner who is going to drive the wheels off of it. The modified roadster rips down the street and cruises down the highway with it's overdrive transmission. The SBC has a mild cam and two, two barrel carbs adapted to a vintage Weiand intake. The set up was professionally built by Dicks Hot Rod Carbs. The Motor and trans are detailed and color matched with the car. One of my favorite features of the roadster is all the chrome accent pieces. Therear endis a Winters Mini-Banjo style that has a polished third member. The suspension is all set up on quarterellipticalshocks, dry lakes style. Chrome friction shocks are on all four corners right next to the Wilwood disc breaks. The wheels are Rocket Racing Fire and Solids and the modified is the poster child for these wheels in the Rocket Racing Wheel catelog. Sikkens Paint company liked the project so much that they sponsored the paint and also use the HRC roadster for advertising purposes. This Hot Rod is unique and even at the LA Roadster Show and the GNRS is shines among the rest because it is different yet a class act. Needless to say, every inch of the car is detailed, it is gorgeous.
The car debuted at the Grand National Roadster Show in 2014 and took 2nd place in a class of 20 high-end roadsters. It wasn't a $100K build but it was cleaner than almost all of them and the fabrication exceeded its competitors by far. HRC went with the Polyform body because they are proven the best and 3 in. longer and wider. I'm 6'1 and fit perfect. We wanted the "Modified Roadster" look and the '27 T in our eyes was the only way to go. We looked and looked at original Henry bodies but they were too small and narrow for my body frame. With the way we set up the interior, and the Poly Form amenities, the driver is able to sit much lower and stretch out way more than if we were to have gone with an original body.We have documented every inch of this build from start to finish. Grossi Speed and Fab is responsible for the build and he out did himself. The new owner will rest assured that this build was done right.
We have been intentional about the car keeping a low profile in the media because we always intended on selling it. We made sure to keep it out of magazines (as much as we could control), so that the future owner can drive it as their own.The next caretaker of this roadster will be beyond satisfied with the show quality of the hand built chassis, strong motor, flawless interior, and all the custom fabrication that is all over this car. We hate to have to let it go butunfortunatelywe can keep all of them.
Please ask any questions and I'd be happy to answer them for you. If you're interested in seeing the car, it is located in Fresno, Ca.
