1959 Ford Ranchero NO RESERVE.
Read on, Like I said, Garage is bursting at the foundation, somethings gotta go. So, Screw it.
NO RESERVE
Bid to win. With what I got in this, my bunghole is sore just thinking about it.
Guess it's time. Have commitment on a early woody, something's gotta roll, My garage is busting at the foundation.
For your Pleasure, sell my 1959 Ford Ranchero.
It's a Street rod, Hot Rod, Just a sweet badass Ranchero. Retro Rod? Ah, NO done before that was the new rebuild catch praise of vintage restorations.
Original had a 292 with two speedy automatic, Now sports a 460 from a 73 Lincoln with less than 800 miles, The 460 engine is rock stock, 8.5 to 1 C/R with the exception of a crane S-280 cam, nice lil lope at idle. installed a set of straight up timing gears also. Dual exhaust’s with custom, rare Rocket Tips and YES working side pipes (not just for show.)
Engine and tranny done using the Dearborn classic swap kit, which included motor mount pads, and complete transmission mounts and crossbar., oversized radiator with pusher fan installed for when stuck in bumper to bumper traffic, always ran cool at highway speeds, fan was added to extra security in the city.
Rear end is a stock 9” with 3 to 1 ratio and a Ford limited slip differential from a 1966 Ford 7 litre car. Installed new brakes wheel cyl, Less than 6,000 miles ago, New HD Ford front shocks for the extra engine weight, and Gabriel Hijackers rear air shocks, to lower it out and to handle towing my tear drop trailer when loaded, Original 59 Ranchero stock trailer hitch, Original 1959 Ranchero rear fiberglass Protect -o- top, Fiberglasslockable rear bed lid, Removable thick rubber bed protector, NO rut in bed, or damage to rear gate, All Ranchero's SS tri, nice & Complete.
Interior, headliner, door panel, carpets etc, less then a year new. Has Galaxy dash trim too.
Fat BFG's tires are couple years old and limited mile, maybe 5-, 000 on orig vintage cragers. All for are 235-60 R15's Tucked in and under nicely, no rubb'in at all. All gauges work as they should, it's missing his sun visors (lost by the guy that did the interior) Back up lights (not on this model) are now extra brake and turn signals for safety. He's runs like a top, stops on a dime, 70 all day lon, even towing my teardrop.Fuel tank is from 1957 Ford Wagon-ranchero, it fits good, but not as original, still holds 18-20 gallons, gauge is off aprox a quarter. Orig working odometer reads 76548 (most likely not with out a turn or two) I'm fourth owner, from what I was told, always an Oregon / California west coast ride.
