1978 Ford Mustang Gia Additional Info:
Up for auction is a 1978 Mustang II. The car runs & drives great. Stars right up & shifts smoothly. This is an a/c car, though it came with no compressor. It has new tires, and factory aluminum slotted wheels. I installed a new radio with an MP3 player. The previous owner cut up the dash around the radio. So I had really no choice. I also installed a new center dash speaker. All in all the interior is in really good shape. I installed dew door panels, arm rests & dash pad. That's why, the arm rests & dash pad, are black in color. I installed a new gas tank & sender. I also installed a new rear fiberglass bumper. The original one had a trailer ball on it. Paint is in decent shape. There is one rust area, behind the right rear wheel. (as pictured) Some of the rest is a little faded. It looks like a repaint, but still pretty decent. All dash gauges work perfectly. I just had the cluster rebuilt. It also has a new battery. OK now for the problems. The car needs a heater core. Currently it is blocked off, but it does leak. The vinyl roof is very faded. And part of the roof moldings seem to be pop riveted on. I took the side molding off the car. I think it looks better that way. The original molding will be included. But there are some holes & rivets due to their removal. The dashboard digital clock does not work. The reason I'm selling the car? My main vehicle need a lot of work. And I need that vehicle far more than I need this one. So my loss is your gain. I also have many parts for this vehicle, which I will be listing as well.
