1932 Ford Tudor Sedan Additional Info:
Original 70's Hot Rod, built with genuine Ford parts, except for the economical 231 with turbo 350 and 10 bolt (8.2) GM rear end. Cast Offenhauser finned valve covers and air cleaner, other chrome and shiny bits, including coated manifolds. Disc brakes on dropped tube, transverse springs front and back. Tons of old chrome on that suspension, including the leaf springs, shocks and 4-bar rear. Excellent driver, yearly trips from St Louis to Columbus without a hiccup. Only maintenancerequired in the last 5 years have been oil changes and fresh tires.
Bolt pattern is 5 x 5 1/2, American made aluminum Halibrand Sprints with knock off lug covers. You can go right to an early Ford 16" steel wheel for a new/old look.
Perfect working set of vintage Stewart Warner black face gauges. The interior may be dated, but it's very comfortable, with recliningseats, and storage under the back seat. Complete, in good shape, including the headliner, no tears other than a small spot on the back of the driver's seat and the carpet's a little threadbare at the throttle pedal . Vintage Air underdash unit, works, but not blowing as cold as it use to, probably needs some r-12 added. Tilt column, with GM splines.
Deuce Factory dropped headlight bar carrying Ford commercial lights. Original fenders and running boards, reproduction fiberglass rear fenders. 35 plus-year-old lacquer is definitely showing it's age, checking and cracking in a few places. Rust-free, except for a few small surface areas- see the pictures. Both door windows are cracked. Leak-free roof insert!
Absolutely reliable and roadworthy, fly in, drive home! Will meet within a reasonable drive, or can deliver to most midwest car shows, including Good Guys in Columbus.
Send message with phone number if you have any questions. No trades, unless it's a mid-year Corvette of equal value.
