1967 Ford Mustang Additional Info:
This might be the best bargain on a Mustang today! Where else can you find a ‘67 Mustang Fastback with a 460 big block below $30k? Starting life as a California C-code fastback, today it’s a professionally built street machine that turns heads everywhere it goes!
The body obviously has a slick custom retro paint job, but look deeper and you’ll see that more importantly it's all the original panels beside the hood. That’s right, beyond the custom hood, there’s no fiberglass here! The original panels are covered in Dupont Chroma Base Yellow with plum metallic flames and custom hand done pinstripping. Door jambs, rocker panels, window channels are some of the best I have ever seen. No rust or bubbles in the door proves once again that this car started life as a real California car.
Inside, the interior is almost all brand new! Obviously you’ll notice the full cage, and the car has been tubbed, but just look at how well it was done. Starting at the bottom the carpet is brand new, as well as the seats, autometer gauges, dash pad, dash trim, door panels, and door sill plates. But trust me, as soon as you fire up the motor, this is one you want to buckle up and hang on. Because this isn’t your typical 289 Mustang!
Gone is the timid 289 2-bbl from the factory, and instead placed in the engine bay is 460 big block that has been bored 30 over to 466ci. A little fabrication had to occur to accommodate the big engine, the firewall had to be custom designed and the shock towers did have to be notched. Bolted to the E460 Ford Racing block, is super cobra jet heads, aluminum weiand stealth intake, flat tappet camshaft, roller timing chain, tubular performance headers and MSD components throughout. Most importantly this performer doesn’t need race gas, it runs on 93 octane pump gas!
If you are tired of the same ‘ole Mustangs showing up at the local cruise in, then this is the car you’ve been looking for. Honestly, when was the last time you saw a ‘67 Mustang this affordable? This vehicle does have a clean and clear title. For more information please call Matt at 803-288-3777 or send a message.
