1963 Ford Falcon Deluxe 4 Door Additional Info:
I'd prefer to re-home this tosomeone that has restored at least one vintage vehicle by themselves/ paid, and kept it stock (except fresh paint upholstery etc). I've had this car for approx.15 years. Stored under cover for a number of years, until recently. With new points and a carb clean, started right up. The buyer is responsible for ALL shipping and related costs.
Pros:
-engine and transmission rebuilt (engine is a straight 6)
-she's stock + all gorgeous emblems, knobs, and details are there
-manual "three in the tree" ( fun/ easy shifter on steering column)
-original owners manual, big folder of receipts, some extra parts
-compact car for it's time (parking/fuel economy)
-old generator was swapped for a more functional alternator (still considered stock)
-rocket tail-lights, tilt windows, manual choke, "crotch coolers" little boxes under the dash that you can cool sodas in or open for cool lower breeze, etc...
-easy to work on, made in Canada, deluxe model (fancy details)
-comfy bench seats front and back-I can film a virtual tour if you need
Cons:-Car was running, now fuel system will need to be cleaned first due to old gas
-dent in trunk (could be banged out easily from trunk)
-some rust/ body work spots, some bondo around wheel wells-need to repair original upholstery (under seat covers, around windows) for collector status (car had status in the 90's)
-oil light comes on after running a while but oil is pumping fine (likely electrical)
-breaks must be done, especially after sitting for years-one leaf spring may need replacing eventually
Key words; vintage compact, funky space-age, daily driver, retro car, collectible, comet, ford fairlane, ranchero, valiant, steampunk, beautiful ride...
