Listing one of the most beautiful Model A Hot Rods in the US. All Henry Ford steel, a head turner and show winner wherever you take it!! The hot rod was a Street Rodder Top 100 in 2012, received the Goodguys Rod and Custom "Period Perfect" award in 2016 and took Best of Show at this summer's Heavy Rebel Hot Rod Show. The car is a 1929 Ford body chopped and channelled 4" over a 1932 Ford truck chassis with a 1932 Ford Tudor Grill Shell. The car began life in Kansas, was chopped and channelled in Southern California and then spent time in NY before landing in my garage in North Carolina. This traditional rod has received a major overhaul from front to back using the best traditional parts available. The car has a chopped Willys-Knight windshield. First Gen SBC 327 with a mild Comp Cam from a 1964 Impala and a rebuilt 1st Gen 4-speed Muncie Transmission, Hurst Shifter (1191 miles since built, sounds and runs like a beast). Smithy mufflers. 1957 Chevy rear end just rebuilt. 3 large logo Stromberg 97 Carbs rebuilt into a killer 3 deuce set-up by Dick York in Texas. Restored Delco Generator with a NOS Sears regulator. Front axle is a Ford F100 with Model A split wishbones. Front F100 drums and rear Chevy drums. King Bee headlights and tail lights are custom 1950 Pontiac bezels, Chevy lens with blue dots. Vintage Yankee fog lights converted into front turn signals. Restored 1955 Merc hubcaps, black powder coated wheels. Interior with killer white rolls and pleats,1950s custom VW steering wheel, German square weave carpet, vintage 1935 Ford shift knob, SW gauges, vintage suicide knob, and a custom and hidden Rockford Fosgate audio system with a sub, AMP and bluetooth, no head unit. Pinstriped by the late Lenny Smith of Syracuse, NY. Car was been totally rewired and has a battery trickle charger accessed thru the trunk and a battery cut off switch. Killer car show sign included, featuring an original 1929 grill shell and laser cut steel insert (with a custom vinyl carrying case).
