Selling my 1949 Ford F1 pickup that I've owned for 17 years. The calendar and poor health are catching up to me and that's why I am selling.
My truck has the original frame, cab and doors and front axle.
THE CAB HAS BEEN CHOPPED 5 INCHES.
THE FLIP FRONT END IS FIBERGLASS AND HAS BEEN PANCAKED AND NARROWED WITH THE SIGNALS IN THE LIGHTS AND NO BUMPERS FOR A CLEAN LOOK.
THE ENGINE IS A REBUILT 302 WITH MILD CAM, HEADERS, DUAL FLOMASTERS AND DUAL EXAUST TIPS ON EACH SIDE. TRANNY IS A REBUILT C4 (BILLS TO PROVE).
IT HAS POWER FRONT DISC BRAKES. VINTAGE AIR CONDITIONING AND HEAT, POWER WINDOWS AND SEAT.
IT HAS A MUSTANG 2 POWER RACK AND PINION STEERING. IT HAS NEW 2 LEAF REVERSE-EYE SPRINGS TO LOWER IT IN THE FRONT.
IT HAS A CUSTOM DASH WITH GAUGES, TACK AND CLOCK. IT HAS A FLOOR MOUNTED LOKAR SHIFTER AND A SUN ROOF. IT HAS SHAVED DOOR HANDLES WITH SOLENOIDS AND REMOTE, CHROME TILT STEERING COLUMN.
THE INTERIOR IS FINISHED WITH FORD WINDSTAR BUCKET SEATS.
THE BED IS 99 FORD RANGER WITH LID, REAR SPOILER WITH 3RD BRAKE LIGHT. TAIL LIGHTS ARE 90'S LINCOLN.
REAR END IS FORD 9INCH AND 4 LINK WITH COIL OVER SHOCKS REAR SUSPENSION.
GAS TANK IS 16 GAL. ALUMINUM WITH SENDING UNIT, MOUNTED IN THE BED ALONG WITH A SPARE TIRE.
THE TIRES ARE ALL LOW PROFILE FIRESTONE ON CUSTOM 17 INCH RIMS.
THE RUNNING BOARDS ARE CUSTOM MADE FIBERGLASS.
THE DISTRIBUTOR IS DAVIS UNIFIED IGNITION-HIGH ENERGY AND EXPENSIVE. CARB IS HOLLEY ON AN EDELBROCK INTAKE WITH EDELBROCK VALVE COVERS AND AIR BREATHER.
The truck has 5600 miles on it since the build and I have driven it from Nevada to Wyoming 2 different times without incident and wouldn't hesitate to go anywhere in it. It still needs some TLC to make it a show winner It is fun to drive and I get many compliments on it.
It does need to be repainted and I started sanding the hood but my painter, and friend, passed away. The truck needs door rubbers and window channels and 1 door solenoid. The windshield and rear window rubbers are fairly new as is the glass.
This truck is a nearly finished project that has most of the work done and is a real bargain considering all the cash that has gone into it over the years, not counting the labor over the years. I have had the body off in 2000 and again in 2006 and started driving it in 2013 and put a ton of money into it over the years.
HOPE IT GOES TO A GOOD HOME.
