This car was a survivor type car with all parts needed to make it function properly and look great replaced by current owner. Story is that the car was bought new at a dealership in Ohio. It was traded back in at the same dealership after WWII and was placed on the dealership floor as a display piece. Dealership had the car repainted sometime in the 50's. Car was purchased by the guy that has something to do with the Goodguys Gazette when he was at one of their car shows in Ohio and then brought to California. That is when the current owner bought it.Items replaced include: fuel pump, arb, as tank and lines, uel sender, rake shoes, heel cylinders, aster cylinder, adiator & hoses, attery and exhaust.New 6 volt Powermaster generator.Suspension was lowered with reverse spring in front and rear. Tube shocks were added as well as a rear anti-sway bar.Original 16" wheels with new trim rings, aps and tires.New $1,300 Bob Drake running boards.New Grille and hood ornament. Bumpers were rechromed.New correct etched glass. All new rubbers and felts.New interior as the original had gotten to brittle.All gauges work as does the radio. Wiring is in great shape.Runs and drives excellent.Very shiny paint. No rust with the exception of some bubbling starting in the rear pan (see photos). Excellent car. 78k miles is believed to be original.
