Very original and directly from Italy is this 1969 Fiat 500L powered by it’s original 500 cc 2-cylinder and 17 horsepower engine. It is backed by the equally original 4-speed transmission which requires “double clutching” to shift between gears.

Before the owner purchased the car, approximately 8 years ago, he had a mechanic in Italy inspect the vehicle and replaced the brakes, tires, and serviced the engine. Everything works on the car from the horn and turn signals to the wipers.

The body was repainted in its original “teal” color and there appears to be no evidence of rust or bodywork in the Fiat only a couple of dings and chips (please view photos and video). The chrome, emblems, and glass are in good to excellent condition, only the weather stripping shows some age.

The interior appears to have been redone and is in very good condition. No tears or rips in the material.

Total mileage on the 500L is 95,000 KILOMETERS or about 59,000 miles.

Please keep in mind this is a car meant to drive through the narrow streets of Europe, so the top speed is about 50 mph.

It is a blast to drive and needless to say, draws attention wherever it goes.
