Very, very nice Fiat 124 Spider (officially Spider 2000 for this model year). Runs very strong - she wants to go!
The car is not a complete restoration. Rather, it is a very well-maintained car that has been garaged and taken car of. It was repainted a few years ago by a previous owner and looks great. No body rust. NO BODY RUST! By that I mean there is no rust over wheel arches, fender corners, rocker panels, floor pans, etc. - all the places where Fiats feed the rust bug. The underside of the car looks like a car that has been driven around (not glossy black), but there is no rust in wheel wells or shock towers.
Engine starts, runs smoothly. Has ANSA exhaust, very solid. Interior in great shape - no rips, no tears, no broken seat backs. Gauges, wipers, heater fan, blinkers, brake lights, headlights - all work. Brand new battery about a two weeks old.
Top is in very good condition and rear window is clear. There is some missing stitching above rear side window, passenger side, and there are flaps inside that need some Velcro attached (you'll see these hanging down in photo. But there are no rips, tears, or patches and the mechanism works well.
Original Fiat steel rims with beauty rings, tires have massive amount of tread remaining.
All that said, it's still an old car. Don't expect it to be 2017 Miata. Frame and handling is nice and stiff, but there will be rattles, noises, and quirks to give it character plus plenty of tinkering needed on occasion to give you joy of ownership.I can ship to Europe, destination Antwerp. Cost will be an additional $2000, which includes me loading the car into a container, export clearance, ocean transportation, and unloading. You will pay for customs in Belgium and will need to pick the car up there. This car is eligible for reduced VAT. Message me for details.
