The motor fires right up and runs very smooth and healthy. The clutch feels great it shifts smoothly in all gears. The car currently needs an alternator. The dealer wants $800 for the diagnosis and about $2500 for the alternator and installation. I'm sure it can be done cheaper at other shops or by someone experienced with these cars. I just had a new battery installed today so I could get it cleaned up and take it for a spin. I will have the battery fully charged so it can be transported. The front lower bumper is damaged. I included close up pictures. The rest of the body only has very minimal issues for its age. It is all original paint and has all original glass. The interior is in good condition. The alarm system keeps clicking the door locks up and down when you first get in it (issue is probably from turning the battery disconnect off due to the bad alternator) the passengers door lock has been not always unlocking now it dosnt unlock. The convertible top has a bend in the front part of the frame which dosnt allow it to properly close. It drives straight and smooth. I took it 100mph on freeway today. The drivers window functions properly but the passengers does not, the switches need to be rebuilt or replaced. There is no resistance, just free play on the passengers window switches. Headlights,taillights, signals, and other switches function properly. The seat belts have issues and need some work. The Custom license plates were removed and will not go with the car.
