1994 Ferrari 348 Spider (Spyder)
You've got to drive this car! The Ferrari 348 Spider elicits waves, honks, stares, and constant calls from nearby motorists and pedestrians alike. Ordinary drivers morph into paparazzi, turning their digital cameras and video recorders on to film your every move as you drive by with the top down.
What really makes the 348 so special is driving it. You've warmed it up. You've checked your coolant and oil levels. Your gauges report good oil pressure, good water temperature, and good oil temperature. You shift into gear and ease out onto the highway, where a quick blip of the throttle sends you rocketing into the first safe opening on your initial merge. Your blinkers and high-beam flashers are precisely located so that using them becomes an unconscious, effortless act as you change lanes and pass slower traffic.

This is a gorgeous Ferrari 348 Spider! I consider it the nicest example of this model out there. I am happy to provide as much information as you may wish or need. Please contact me with any questions!
I have complete records including all previous owners contact information.
1st owner purchased the vehicle new from Miller's Motor cars in Greenwich, CT on 8/26/93.
2nd owner from Annapolis, MD purchased vehicle on 2/21/02 with 4,339 miles.
3d owner from Queen Anne, MD (same area as 2nd owner) purchased on 10/5/10 with 8200 miles.
4th owner purchased it with 10,838 miles on 1/4/14.
I am the 5th owner and purchased it in Birmingham, AL with 11,300 miles. It now has 12,350 miles.
The car has always been garaged. It has been serviced at two Ferrari dealerships, Miller Motorcars in Greenwich, CT, Ferrari of Washington and Competizione. All service records, including the last major, are in my possession and will be provided to the new owner. The last major was extensive, including timing belt, Hill bearings, OEM water pump, new silicon water hoses, new Hyperflow cats, New Tubi Evo Exhaust, new Conti Sport Contact, new Cavallino center caps, two rims refinished, and a new battery. All major service is paper and photo documented. The front air dam was pulled and repainted due to rock chips and all the plastic interior parts were removed and refinished by Sticky-No-More. All total more than $25k was invested. Since this work, the car has only had about 3500 miles put on it.
It has some after market items, such as a steering wheel, that can be easily returned to stock as I have the original parts. The steering wheel was changed and a hub extension added.
The car has a K40 radar detector - both front and rear detection - perfectly concealed. Nothing is visible from the exterior in regards to the sensors, and the warning lights are installed without drilled hills of any kind. The lights illuminate in existing blocks on the instrumentation cluster. The on-off switch is on teh flat dash cluster below the radio, above the gearbox.
The car has very minimal wear/tear, and is extremely minor. It has been garaged its entire life and has no paintfade.
No accidents ever.
No door dings that I can see.
There is no interior fading and the leather and carpets are in amazing condition. The only noticeable wear on the interior is on the driver-side and is minimal. There are no other wear marks, which is exception, particularly since most others have wear on the door sills; this one does not. The top is in excellent shape, as is the top cover.
Tires only have roughly 3k miles on them. There is no rash on any of the rims.
Condition is subjective and of course your opinion. Please feel to inspect the photos and come see the car for yourself.
This car has been the pride and joy of four older gentlemen owners, never raced or abused, and has been babied and well cared for its entire life, regardless of expense.
All-in-all, this has always been a wonderful Ferrari. I will be very sad to see it go. My reason for selling it is that I am moving on to a new interest and simply do not have garage or storage space for it.
I believe that this specific vehicle represents the best example of a 348 that you will find. I believe this car will only grow in value over the years. While you may be able to find a cheaper one, but to get one in this condition, the paid for add-ons, and the low miles more than justifies the price. Please do NOT waste my time with low-ball offers, and no tire kickers looking for a joy ride.
Again, this car is CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! The engine bay is beautiful. It still has the insulation in place on the underside of the rear deck engine hatch. Often on 348s it is missing or torn up. Of all the 348s, the 94/95 Spiders are the ones to own. If you are considering the 348, you need to see this one.
I have all the original items that came with the car. Keys. Convertible bonnet cover (see the photos with it installed). The Ferrari luggage/tool kit. All service records. Original red Ferrari car cover. I also have all the parts removed from the car, such as exhaust, cats, steering wheel and such should you wish to return the car to fully stock.
