1972 Ferrari Other Additional Info:

This car is one off the best looking and driving recreated Dayton's Replicas every made. Mike Sturtevant, the builder is well known for his superior workmanship and has been featured in Kit Car Magazine. Article details and photos at rowleycorvette.com. The article details the quality of how the GTC was built.

This was Sturtevant’s second build and the performance test’s are reported in thearticle.

This GTC for sale was Sturtevant’s third and final build. The GTC was being build for himself. He spent $45,000.00 in parts alone. Not a used nut or bolt was used in the built. In 1990 Sturtevant sold the car to the second owner for $75,000.00. At 17,000 miles the engine was rebuilt by M&M Engineering in Hayward California. The cubic inches were increased to 355 and the horsepower increased to around 500HP.The car has a Doug Nash 5 speed and is a ball to drive. The paint, chrome, wheels and tires look like new. All the lights and guages work, and the AC blows Cold. The Interior is exact to the Connolly leather used in the original 1970’s GTC. The body and interior were constructed by Rowley Corvette the foremost builder and supplier of GTC parts and accessories. Many of the parts used are authentic GTC parts down to the horn and emergency brake. The third owner had it for 12 years and enjoyed it. I purchasedthe car in 2015, and have to make room for a few new toys. Good Luck bidding.

The car was built on a 1980 Corvette platform and is registered as 1980 Corvette, with no smog controls. This car looks as close as you can get to the real thing which are now over $2 million
