Original owner! 1960 Edsel Ranger with NO RESERVE!This is a great restoration project of one of the rarest cars ever built. 1960 was the last year of manufacture for the Ford Edsel and it was only produced for one half of the year in 1960. My dad was the original owner of this car. The car is intact and has never been wrecked. The front windshield has a crack in it and there are some rust places around the rear wheel wells. Other than that it is in pretty good shape and you will not have to find replacement parts as the car is already complete right down to the Edsel hubcaps. I'm pretty sure the engine is not the original V8 motor. My dad was a mechanic and I think he replaced the original engine at around 100,000 miles.Originally, the car did not have air conditioning. My dad added a "Frost King" under dash air conditioner later on. I do not know if it still works. The car does not run but the mechanic tells me that the engine will spin. The car does not roll as the brakes are locked up but I did put new tires on it.
