I have owned this bus for 20 years and have enjoyed the conversion process and travelling in it immensely. With the 500 HP Series 60 engine it is a joy to drive. It pulls hills effortlessly. Since I installed the engine and did the conversion, I have driven it 21,000 miles. Travelingall over the western United States and down into Mexico. It has ran flawlessly. A few things that I have enjoyed about building my own RVare items like: the kitchen counter is 11 feet long for plenty of room for food prep and cooking, it has a 36 inch by 36 inch residential shower (not like typical tiny RV showers).
After 20 years of enjoyment my wife and I have decided to focus on our new adventure of running an 8000 sq foot Bed and Breakfast, so that is why the bus is being sold. We will be leaving all of the kitchen dishes, cutlery, andpots and pans with the bus (if you would like them).
In the last couple of years we have only driven it approximately 1000 miles so it will need a few things. The generator and house batteries are old and should be replaced. The awningis damaged and the fabric is torn. I have taken all of these things into consideration in the price. Having said that, it runs awesome and no issues with coming to Portland, Or. I will pick you up at the airport and you can drive it home.
