here's a 1970 Dodge Challenger solid rolling body project car that was originally a plum crazy 340 pistol grip 4 speed car. Car needs total restoration and does not include motor or transmission. Car is like a blank slate for a Buyer, could be restored with any drivetrain he wants, also could use the body to help restore a more valuable 4 speed car.work was started on the car at some point which included replacing all floor pans with an original rust free floor, installing a new 4 speed hump and other various body repairs. car body mainly needs rear body repairs and several reproduction sheet metal parts are included with purchase. most of the original body is very solid dry western type body was not a rusty car like you find in the mid west and back east.
Solid original areas of car that never had rust include frame rails, doors, roof, rocker panels, firewall, inner fenders, cowl, back seat area, shelf tray, etc. Rust free doors from another car are mounted. original quarters only need lower patches which are included with purchase. so most the hard work on the body was done. Rust repair is needed on lower windshield area and lower windshield corners. car looks like it was hit in rear at some time, needs some work.
Parts included with the car are performance bulge hood, nice hood hinges, front and back seat cores, nice 70 steering column with key, power steering gearbox, original front and rear bumpers, partial 70 71 style rallye gauges, replacement trunk sheetmetal (2 piece type), repro quarter patches already cut to install, non posi 8 3/4 rear end drop out with 489 case, some windshield trim, 4 speed Z bar, side markers, emergency brake assembly, 1970 Dodge Challenger dash core, nice rust free dash frame, original number 12 coin K frame, power brake booster core. original sun visors, driver side vent box. not listed here or in pics not included in auction. see pics some of the parts not included motor and transmission, fenders, 4 speed pedals, heater box, door glass (has quarter glass)
