Vehicle Details

For sale is a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T convertible 383 car. This car has been undergoing a full restoration and is very close to being finished. Due to buying new property, I’ve decided to sell the car. This car needs a couple of weekends and maybe 5-7k to finish. It has all been professionally done and has lots of new parts . Once finished this car would be a 6 figure car. A chance to finish and gain some sweat equity! Please read everything as I will try to be thorough. I will also be adding a walk around video of the car at some point.

The body is extremely straight and the gaps all around the car are very nice! Unlike many mopars you will find. It is painted base coat clear coat in Sublime green. The car was originally F8 green. The car retains its original fender tag as well. The car was being built to the owners liking so no thought was given to keeping originality. The car features new black hood and side stripes. The body has new antenna, rear tail lights, front and rear bumpers, mirrors . New front windshield as well. Mostly everything on the car is new or completely gone through. The car has absolutely no rust on it. The underside of the car is just as clean as the top side . The convertible top mechanism is complete and rust free. It will need a new convertible top cover however. All of the convertible specific components, trim and latches are all there and in excellent shape. Grille and headlights are in excellent shape with new emblems.

Interior has new convertible latches, receivers and anti rattle clips. Interior trim is all present. Rally gauges and all harnesses are there and new . Seats are there and will need recovered but is complete including a new rear seat. Console car with new shifter and selector. Console missing top lid. Floors are perfectly solid and painted how the factory would have done, with just dusting paint on the floors . New door panels and weatherstripping. Dash pad is new . Rear trunk floor is solid and so is the well area with no rust. New flip top gas cap with new filler neck.

Engine is nearly complete and is out of a 68 Roadrunner. It runs strong and just needs some accessories back on it. Motor was tore apart and regasketed and painted. Trans is a 727 and shifts great. It wouldn’t take much to get the motor fired up at this point. Motor has Hp manifolds and new plugs, gasket, oil pump, etc.

Rear end is an 8 3/4 with 3.23 gears. Will need exhaust . New brake and fuel lines. New Mopar leaf springs and shackles.

Wheels are 15” Magnum 500 wheels.

The car comes with front and rear seats and marker lights not shown. A few small trinkets as well.

Suspension is completely new and rebuilt. New brakes front and rear as well.

I am selling this for a friend as he doesn’t do the internet. I’m helping him sell several of his cars. This car is unfinished but for someone who knows these cars could benefit from finishing the car out and enjoying it reselling. This is an honest listing with description to best of my abilities. I will provide plenty of pictures and also a walk around of car video from my YouTube channel.

The car is sold as is where is. No exceptions. The car is sold with a clean California title and in the owners name. The car is sold with no warranties. This is a 55 year old vehicle. Buyer is welcome to inspect the car prior to auction ending. Buyer to pay $1000 deposit and the remaining funds to be paid in cash in perso, bank wire transfer or a cashiers check. By check the car will be held until

It clears. All sales are final and all transporting expenses are solely the buyers responsibility. Will help load the car on transport truck. Overseas and out of state buyers welcome. Thank you!
