As you know cars like these don't become available very often.Original FJ5 Sublime green which in my opinion was the best color for 1970. Real R/T, not a clone. Have clear Oregon Title which is where the car came from 12 years ago. I have done a lot to the car but unfortunately Im not able to finish the car so this is a great opportunity for someone to own a very cool car. Car is very solid this is not a rust bucket or ever was a rust bucket. Original quarter panels, original inner quarters, original wheelhouses, original frame rails etc.The only metal in the rear it needed was the center trunk pan which I just hada local Body Shop put in. The car is very solid with only needing a couple floor patches put in. Rear Frame rails etc. are very nice
Car is missing Rally Gauges & dash wiring. I would probably replace all wiring anyway. Needs interior redone. Also missing front windshield & trim, hood latch assembly, trunk lid striker, gas tank..I have new Mopar sill plates and 383 magnum hood emblems that are included. Also new rear air shocks, new battery, new brake master cylinder, new alternator. New Mopar voltage regulators. New 4 wheel opening moldings.
383 engine is not numbers matching but is correct HP motor that came out of a 1970 Superbee. It was running when pulled but I cant guarantee anything.HP exhaust manifolds are there and I have the carb also. I would pull the motor and freshen it up. The car is being sold 100% as is.
I would replace the hood, its not great. left fender has filler in it but is solid.
Roof needs some repair in drivers upper windshield area.
Options. FJ5 Sublime Green, Vinyl Top, Power Steering, Dual Exhaust, Black side R/T stripes. I don't have the fender tag but you can get one from multiple sources. I have the important dash-vin tag & numbers on the body all match.
Again theChallenger is a work in progress thatcould be worked on this winter and be able to drive next summer depending on the type of restoration you want to do it.These real R/T sublime cars are getting very very hard to find. Thank you for looking. Please don't bid if you are not a serious buyer...........
