1969 Dodge Charger "project car"The pros:It's a 69 Charger! All numbers match (eng, trans, body, title, vin, tag)383 has been completely rebuilt (new pistons etc...) by a well respected machine shop in St. Charles Il, I have receipts and a video of it running on an engine stand. It was done several years ago, oiled and wrapped in plastic. I opened it up, inspected it (absolutely spotless), re-lubricated the cam and all bearings and ran it for break-in. This type of build today would cost 4-6k.All interior is included, but obviously will need to be reupholstered (front bucket, console car)Most parts to reassemble are included (bumpers, brackets, lights etc...)Had the trunk pan and rear panel replaced, rear panel will need to be welded after the rear quarters are replaced. Some repair panels are included (trunk drops, rocker panels, outer wheel house)Front and rear frame rails look good and wont need to be replaced. Fully intact fender tag and title in my name. The title has "rebuilt" on it, the last owner said it was stolen in the 80's and bought back from the insurance company. The cons: Will need extensive body repair, rear quarters w/ outer wheel house, partial floor pans, rocker panels, inner rocker patches, roof panel replaced or repaired. This project is not for the beginner and will take plenty of money and time to finish, but definitely worth the investment.Hagerty has the car valued at $103,000 #1, $77,000 #2, $36,400 in poor conditionDeposit of $500 is required, the remainder to be paid on pick up, either cash or bank transfer.
