1950 Dodge Power Wagon frame off restoration Vehicle was purchased new by the Lawrence Radiation Labratory IN LIVERMORE CA from COAST FIRE APPARATUS …. The radiation labratory was a secret nuclear development lab… it is only in the last few years that pictures of the lab and this truck when it was new have been released and published in the archives I have included those original pics in the auction for your viewing. This truck has the optional and rare REAR BELT DRIVE SYSTEM. it is complete from PTO to the drum out back. It has a cover built into the diamond plate to protect it when not in use ….Front Pump was completely rebuilt but has not been used since Resto. Lastly. Apparently JOHN F KENNEDY sat in this rig on 1962 when he visited the radiation labratory. Google search it. It’s a big deal …. He was killed about a year later. While I don’t have a picture to prove this …. It seemed to be common knowledge among coast employees and the fire crew in the area that served the lab.
This truck was owned by the govt until early 80’s. I still have the bill of sale showing this. It will go with the truck. I also have a clean CA title for the truck.
