1983 Dodge Ram 3500 Additional Info:
This truck is in exceptional condition. It was bought new by a fire department in rural Montana where it spent most of its life in a garage (no rust to speak of) and only has 57,443 original miles. The original paint shows very nicely. a 360 and backed by a 4 speed and an NP 205 transfer case with a Dana 60 front/Dana 70 rear, the truck starts and drives like it did in 1983. The bed is a Knapheide flatbed. The only thing that needs attention is the windshield, which is cracked and some other minor cosmetic blemishes that are consistent with a very well-kept 40 year old original truck. Otherwise it’s ready to drive across the country. It made the drive from Eastern Montana to Western Oregon without any issues.
