Here's your chance to own a good one!
•Factory LM29H1 - 1971 340 Demon•Factory 4 speed•Factory 3.91 Sure Grip•Factory Hood Pins•Factory Power Steering With Gear Package Cooler•Factory Tachometer•Factory B&W Plaid Interior•Factory Rallye Wheels•Factory Fender Tag•Factory Broadcast Sheet•All Numbers Matching: Engine, Transmission, Dash VIN Tag, Door VIN Decal, Both Body VIN Sequence Stampings, Fender Tag, and Broadcast Sheet as mentioned•Sold New at Dishman Dodge in Spokane Washington•August 1970 Scheduled Production Date, very early first month of production car.
This car has only had 3 owners since new (I was one of them) and spent most of its days in St. Maries Idaho, a nice dry rust-free Western car, and a rare early production Los Angeles plant car with an original Broadcast Sheet! The car has not been completely restored; All of the major assemblies have been rebuilt or restored with the addition of a few "Day 2" parts.
The engine in the car is a fresh replacement 1971 vintage 340 with stock stroke, light head porting, a roller cam, Edelbrock Air Gap intake, and electronic ignition, it runs very strong and made 430 dyno proven horsepower. It runs great on pump 92 and really pulls the little Demon down the road! The original numbers matching short block was pulled to preserve it, it has no damage or repairs and goes with the car, as do the original intake and exhaust manifolds.
The entire suspension has been rebuilt with all new parts, as was the exhaust.
The interior is all new Legendary upholstery, and the entire dash assembly has been restored including a re-chromed dash bezel, etc.
The car runs and drives very nicely with no issues. The sheet metal is original and rust free, it has had misc. repairs and spray ins over the years with many areas remaining original paint. Overall, it looks really good, it could show up at any show and draw crowds.
This is VERY hard to find combo these days and the price reflects it so bid to your budget. The car is also available for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Any questions of more pictures feel free to contact me. I am representing this car for a friend.
The car is currently located in Kelowna, BC Canada however if the buyer needs it delivered to Spokane Washington for pickup that can be arranged at the buyer’s expense.
All transportation arrangements and costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
