This car has really grown on me as we inspected and processed it. For the body and underside are really clean metal. The car feels right. Runs strong, shifts easy etc. The owner writes for Mopar Action magazine, so he's a Mopar guy. He drove it from an hour away trouble free. EXTERIOR: Like I said already, the body is really clean. Looks like it has original, dry metal. It is straight as a laser. Repainted it's original color- anniversary... gold. The clear coat has been polished to a high gloss. There are a few touch ups. The chrome bumpers, handles, trim around the top opening have been rechromed. The stainless trim looks like it has been professionally polished. The grill and tail panel are straight and shiny. Has an upgraded brown German cloth convertible top, very classy. Also has a really nice set of aftermarket wheels with some meaty tires. INTERIOR: Very nice inside the car too. Has bucket seats with a full console and at 4 speed shifter sticking out of it. The seats have been recushioned. New correct reproduction upholstery and door panels. Carpet was replaced. Overall the dash area looks great, clean not beat up. There is an upgraded stereo. There is a tachometer in the console and retractable seatbelts in front. Convertible framework is clean looking. The well liner and top boot match the upholstery. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Looks really good when you open the hood. Big 426 motor is dressed up with a sharp set of finned aluminum valve covers and matching oval air cleaner. The 426 was rebuilt with a little performance. Has upgraded cam, aluminum Edelbrock intake and a huge Holley carb. Distributor and wires look recent. Alternator still has sticker on it. New Griffin aluminum radiator keeps it running cool. The engine bay is smooth clean metal with all the factory spot welds and seams. Has the original Fender tag and washer fluid bag. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Huge trunk compartment. Like the rest of the car it has clean metal. Bottom of the trunk lid and jamb are painted real nice. Has complete jack and spare and a plaid mat. A couple boxes of miscellaneous extra parts that go with the car too. UNDERSIDE: Rock solid floors and frame rails. It has the factory tabs and drain hole plugs on the lower inner 1/4s. Has clean factory pinch welds along the rockers. Has a great sounding fat exhaust with crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. Has new sway bar in front, air shocks in back. The bottom of the motor and trans look fresh. Also included with the car is a bunch of original literature, sales brochures etc. This is a really clean car that runs strong. I think it is a classy gentleman's muscle car! I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
