FOR AUCTION OR BUY IT NOW: 1965 Dodge W 200 3/4 ton 4X4 regular cab pick up.
Here is the story on this awesome truck .
I have the original Dealership Sales receipt for this truck when it was sold New in March of 1965 in Vesta, New York. 2% sales tax.
It was used on a farm to move cattle around,so thefloor of the box has been replace withflat steel and the wooden racks were made.
It was a complete truck until about 10 years ago, when it was disassembled and being restored.
I just stacked it back together and put a few bolts in it to keep it together for transport. That's why the bodylines are off a little.
The frame, axles, transfer case, brakes, and suspension, appear to have been restored and painted. Even the driveline/parking brake looks new.
The slant six engine has been disassembled and is in the box of the truck along with the 4 speed manual New Process NP435transmission.
Some bodywork has been done and more is needed. Therehas beena lot of new sheet metal replaced on the cab, but I cannot find any rocker panels in the pile ofparts that came with this truck.
The fenders are in amazing condition and the box and tailgate are not too bad. The latch works every time because it's a chain tailgate . Not bad for a 53 year old truck.
The bench seat, gas tank, steering column and heater boxis in good condition and isin the cab, as well as all the rest of the parts that were taken off during restoration. It is really loaded with parts and I have it covered with a good tarp.
I have a transferable New York State registration, in my name for this truck.
This would make an awesome truck for a 12/24 valve Cummins conversion because it has a divorced transfer case. That means there is a short driveshaft between trans and transfer case.
I have a '72360 truck engine and matching 4 speed with clutch and bell housingthat is available for this truck as a separate purchase.
I am selling this to help fund my other Mopar projects.
I can assist in delivery within 100 miles if needed.
Thanks for looking and email with any questions.
