Vintage 1966 Dodge A100 Pickup Truck
Here we have for sale a very cool old 1966 Dodge A100 pickup truck. These are super unique and cool trucks of their time. They look awesome! We have already restored one to perfect original condition but we won't be getting to this one. We bought this because it is very restorable and pretty much all of the parts are there. They hard parts are there! The bumpers, especially the rear, which is in great shape is still there. The original mirrors, seats, tail gate. Everything that is usually missing or in bad shape is here. The front bumper has been bent and straightened but it still needs work to make straight. The truck was found here sitting in the dry Nevada desert. The truck has very minimal surface rust. The floors are solid in the truck and same in the truck bed. The quarters are solid in the truck and same with the wheel wells. It just has dents in the truck corners that need to be repaired. There are various dents around the body and some previous old body work done to the roof. The truck has nice newly painted wheels. I had them professionally painted for my other Dodge A100 for a back up set but I decided to put them on this truck. The whitewall tires are in good shape. There is one brand new tire. The original hubcaps are in pretty nice shape!! Those are real hard to find. The rear tail gate is in very nice original condition. It is missing the tail gates chains and hinges to it. The grille is in nice shape! The Dodge emblems are all intact around the truck and are in nice original condition. The truck has all of its glass in it but the passenger front window is cracked. The windshield wipers are intact too. The panel below the rear window was nicely cut out at the seems but it is still there and can be easily rewelded back in place. The interior of the truck is all there. The truck still has its original bucket seats which is very rare to find. The original full dog house engine cover is still intact. The truck still has its complete original battery box which too is rare to find. The dash on the truck looks to be in nice original condition. It does not look like there has been any alterations to it. There was no radio ordered for the truck. There is the original heater still intact under the dash. The controls for it are still there. There is also two visors still attached but they need to be covered. The steering wheel is original and has some cracks in it. The brakes do not work on the truck but the e-brake does. It will need to be winched on a trailer. The truck was ordered with the optional automatic transmission. The engine is a slant straight 6 engine. The truck does not run, it has been sitting for many years before I got it. The engine does turn over though by hand. I don't have any history on any service that has or hasn't been done on the the truck. It is being sold as-is where-is because it doesn't run I don't know the condition of the mechanical parts on the truck because the truck does not run. I do not know the condition of the wiring in the truck. I do not have the ignition key either. Overall it's in good restorable condition. These are rare trucks that don't come up for sale too often. This truck is a project but a restorable one! I have a clean and clear Nevada title in my name. I can keep the truck at my house for up to a month so that shipping arrangements can be made. I may have a shipping connection from Reno to the L.A. Area. I would just have to make sure he can ship a non-running truck. I can help coordinate pickup of the A100 with the winning buyers shipping company. The shipping is the buyers responsibility. I only accepts cash, or money order per ebay's recommendations to help deter from potential scams. Please look at all of the photos and please ask any and all questions that you may have. Please call 775-830-6760 if you have any questions. Thanks for looking!
