1966 Dodge Charger Additional Info:
1966 Charger, let me start out by saying that this car was bought by a gentleman, so that he could fully restore the car after he finished his 1971 Charger R/T restoration. The gentleman never got to start on this 66 charger nor did he finish his 71 due to passing away at the start of this year. I ended up buying 3 cars from the family in total. This is a Real Deal 1966 Charger factory 383 4 Barrel Automatic car with Factory A/C. The car came factory the Light Blue Metallic color that you see on the outside of the car with the Blue Vinyl Interior. I can not tell if this is the original blue Paint on the car or not, I do know that the engine bay of the car was painted a darker blue some time way back, but you can still see the light blue under it in some spots. The drivetrain in the car appears to be fully original to the car. All the factory parts appear to still be their for the car, and nothing major, that I can tell is missing off the car. Both the fender tag and Vin Number are still present on the car and appear to have never been messed with. Out of the 37K Chargers built in 1966 only 9,519 were built with a 383 and an automatic, but how many of those came with A/C? This is a very complete car that is in really great shape. Basically one of the best 66 charger bodies to start with if someone was looking to start a restoration. The bottom side of the car is still all factory undercoated and I see no issues whatsoever under their, as far as rust or holes. The body of the car, other then some minor dents from doors or so, has basically zero rust on it from what I can see. The only rust that I can see is some light surface rust that you see yourself in the pictures. This is going to make someone an easy winter project or just a project in general, specially if someone is looking for a car that they don't want to do any rust repair on. The car is For Sale locally and is subject to be taken off eBay if sold. If you have any questions about the car, please fill free to ask and I will gladly answer them to the best of my ability. A 25% deposit is due within 3 days of the auctions end and the balance within 7 more when the car is to be picked up or arrangements are made for the car to be shipped. Thanks and God Bless, Charlie 251-751-7530
