1969 Dodge Coronet R/T Additional Info:
Originally a X9 body with white stripe N96 440 car with automatic floor shifter. Console and Rally dash. Car was broadcasted with a white vinyl top (VIEW) Remarks at bottom section of the build sheet states "40 cancel vinyl top" The VIN isWS23L9A116718. The interior is all complete and everything is in working order (lights, gauges, heater with new heater core, fan motor, and rear defrost). The only thing that is not working is the tic toc tach. The transmission has been rebuilt along with the rear end, suspension, front end, gas tank, fuel lines, hooker headers, and new complete exhaust.
The car has front disc brakes and rear drums. The motor runs great and has lots of power. It has not been rebuilt recently. As far as I know it has solid lifters, street semi cam, 474 lift/284 duration, medium high rich edelbrock intake, 750 Holley carb. The trunk floor pan is not rotted but it is also not in show car condition. The trunk lid has two holes from a spoiler the previous owner installed. All glass is very nice and factory tinted. All body panels are repairable and the N96 hood cis complete and in excellent condition. The floor pans are solid but the like the rest of the car has some rust in the common areas.
I was told this car is one of about 500 in existence that have low miles, are numbers matching, and have this rare color combination. It is well documented. I am using it as a daily driver right now weather permitting. It is very fun to drive and although not in show car condition now, it definitely deserves to be. A lot of work has already been done and will require further interior work, body work, and paint, which is something I cannot provide it at this time. How often do you come across a 1969 Coronet R/T with rallye dash in this color combo?
