1970 Dodge Challenger SE Additional Info:
Selling my 1970 Dodge Challenger SE. Just have too many cars and going to get down to one play toy. Originally a 383 car it now has a 440 that was done by Performance Counts in Farmville, VA with just a mild cam slightly over stock.Well respected Mopar engine shop that you can call and talk to. Owner will have notes in his files on the build. Transmission is a TCI. Front end and brakes have been checked and car can pass a Virginia State Inspection. Interior is about a 7/8 out of 10 and body is about a 6. This car was painted about 16 years ago and is showing its flaws. Quarters were replaced out of a wrecked Challenger and you can see in thepictures where the paint is cracking where it was flashed in. Sure I could go getthatdone and blended in and it would look good and you would never know but don't feel that is a good thing to do to someone. Car needs to go to a body shop and have it painted and new chrome put on it. That is pretty much it. Interior is fineandwas also done when it was painted. By getting it painted yourself you will know what you have. I had a couple of estimates done last year and looking at 6K to 8K from the shops around here depending on what they found once it was sanded down. But we all know you can spend as much or as little on a paint job as you want. I had a guy offer to do it on the side for 4K. Car is very solid, drives great and has plenty of power to play with. Rear is a 8 3/4 with a 323 gear. I don't race it and when I get on the interstate I want to run 80 with traffic. No low ball offers. If I can't get my asking price I will just keep it. Car can be seen and driven by appointment or can have it inspected if you can't come yourself. $500 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours and full payment within 7 days. Paypal for deposit. Cash or certified check from a major bank that will have to clear before car is released. Can take Paypal for entire purchase with additional $500added to thecost of the car. No warranty given or implied. Car is sold as is where is.
