1970 Dodge Challenger RT Additional Info:
Five year rotisserie restoration on REAL RT Car, not clone, not tribute. The frame has been tied with US Tool contoured frame ties that were both mig and tig welded. The interior looks stock but is mostly new reproduction items. The engine is a 440 B block from 68 or 69 non original with Edelbrock performer aluminum heads. The six pack setup is a modern Edelbrock manifold with 3 Demon carburetors. The transmission is a Tremec 5 speed for E bodies (not an easy fit like they say). The headers are TTI with Flowmaster exhaust. The rear spring are modern CalTracs with CalTracs traction bars as well. The rear end is a Dana 410. Just about everything is new including the wiring harnesses, stainless fuel and brake lines, Summit Racing vacuum pump for the power brakes and a lot more. The Rallye gauges are original and so is the console and the rear defogger . The car floor is lined with Eastwood sound and heat pads, Brakes are new, gas tank is new and most of the glass is new. The shaker hood is real and functional . Every nut and bolt has been removed and replaced on this car. The exterior paint is Hemi Orange, the wheels are 8" Cragars in the front and 10" Cragars in the back with Indy 500 Firehawk radial tires. This car has power steering and power brakes and is a real head turner. My wife says 8 cars is too many and something has to go (several actually).
