1964 Dodge Polara 330 Additional Info:
This 64 330 is a truly preserved 60's street racer. These cars are which put Chrysler on the map in Drag racing no other manufacture could touch these cars.It started out as a police interceptor with a 383, 3 speed Manual trans. car. It has the 9 in the vin. number. Read the article about this car in Bang Shift that is attached. It had a Bad Max Wedge in it back in the day.The fender flares are very nicely done with metal not loaded up with bondo as well the ladder bars really date this car. All of the metal work on the floors, and firewall was very nicely done especially for back in the day. It would make an awesome Gasser, Pro Street, Race car, or a Nasty Street Survivor. I have a 68 383 with pop up piston short block and a 727 that I came throw in with the car. It has no real rust to speak of except surface rust on the new firewall and floors that were installed at some point the rest of the body is clean. It has been frame tied and a nice job. The missing trim on the side is in the trunk as well as window trim. It still has the vin plate attached and will come with a bill of sale. This car has been sitting in a garage for over 25 years when I bought it. I have a grille and front bumper for it. It will need the following a third member, driveline, wiring, glass and the front end sheet metal mounted. I have a four door parts car that I can donate the doors for the regulators if you want. This is a project that is really worth bringing back to it's glory days. I really hate to see this one go, but you know the story to many 64 and 65 projects and a few need to go.
