1964 DODGE STEPSIDE 100 SERIES TRUCKNO RESERVE auction high bidder wins it!This truck is a great deal for cheap money, please understand it is a RAT ROD not a Barret Jackson showcar.My husband built it with my father in law for him to drive, but at 71 years old he prefers his late model car LOL!It still needs some finishing but is running good and driving as it sits. This truck had a later model 360 4 barrel engine installed along with the later automatic trans It has headers and new dual exhaust out the rear. It also has electronic ignition added for quick start ups. It was just tuned and it has a new battery, gas filter, air filter, plugs, wires, cap and rotor. The body was just done and it was just painted in John Deere blitz black with purple suede hand pinstriped in blood red flames. It needs some finishing in the wiring of the lights. It never had turn signals so the added the turn signal controller to the column but they need to be wired. It also needs a new high beam switch and a new stop light switch. The high beams and brake lights are not hooked up just low beamheadlightsandtaillights. The engine wiring and charging system wiring is is good it has been upgraded from the engine donor car. It runs good the motor sounds good and does not tick or smoke we have driven it around the neighborhood but no far distances. The tires are old bias ply and should be upgraded before going far. The brakes stop good. With a little work this could be one sweet ride it stops traffic when it is parked on the driveway. And all the hard work is done just some TLC and finishing touches and your good to go.
