1969 Dodge Other Base Additional Info:
This 1969 Dodge Truck D-200 "camper special" is in great condition for a 45 year old classic! this barn find was actually a car port find last registered in 1991 the previous owner parked it at his grandmas house and just left it sit!...that is why the body is in such great shape; however the passenger side window doesn't go all the way up and was stored like that... the rain or moisture from granny's sprinklers got to the lower part of the passenger door (so look at the picture for that "door shot") otherwise it's a rust free southern california classic/ a local mechanic reconditioned the complete brake system including 2 new drums all brake cylinders & lines and linings and new master cylinder also/ fuel system new pump and lines and bypassed the 2 stainless saddle tanks (just didn't have the time to deal with them, but look to be in great shape) below, as well as cleaned out main gas tank old gas etc./ new water pump and belts and hoses of course with plugs- points-& condenser etc/ also added stainless steel headers and flow masters/ drained tranny and added sealer and new filter etc the 2barrel carburetor always needs a shot of starting fluid in the cold mornings and takes 2-3 minutes to warm up/ the power steering and power brakes are nice though it is still a beast of a truck/ the original color looks like it was turquoise a great color on that circa Dodge sweptback design/ the air conditioning lines still had fluid in them and was disconnected for cleaning and painting the accessories ! it will need to be recharged and probably fresh seals on the lines (i will include whatever r12 cans I have 1or2) this is a NO RESERVE auction with a low start bid to own it if you've been looking for one of these congrats it's your day, and thanks for looking @ my swept line and any questions you might have.please ask before you bid / (i reserve the right to end this listing early for any reason as the truck is for sale locally also) title is still the old school California pink slip / all the gauges work properly excepting the the fuel gauge which reads sometimes and not so well other times/ well thats about all I've got and happy new year
