This 1969 Dodge D200 is a Sweptline Camper Special ¾-ton pickup that underwent a refurbishment in 2015 consisting of refinishing the exterior in turquoise and white along with reupholstering the interior in black and white vinyl. Power comes from a 383ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and other features include white-finished 16″ steel wheels, chrome-finished bumpers, and power steering. Previous owner of 19 years completed most of refurbishment. A service performed in 2020 included replacing the tires, the brake master cylinder, and the front and rear shocks. This D200 is now offered with many service records and a clean California title.
The truck is said to have been refinished in its current turquoise-and-white paint scheme in 2015. A spray-in bed liner was applied and the chromed bumpers and trim were refinished at that time. Other exterior touches include bright dual side mirrors and tie-downs on the outside of the bed.
Steel eight-hole 16″ wheels are finished in white and are mounted with Ironman All Country A/T tires measuring 235/85 that were installed in February 2020. The front and rear shocks were also replaced at that time. The brake master cylinder was replaced in 2020 but has a small leak, and the ball joint boots are cracking.
The cabin was reupholstered in 2015 using black vinyl with white inserts on the bench seat, and the headliner was also replaced at that time. The black dashboard and carpets are contrasted by white door panels with black vinyl inserts. The heater core has been bypassed.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames instrumentation that includes a horizontal 100-mph speedometer flanked by auxiliary gauges. The odometer and speedometer do not function properly. The five-digit odometer shows 8k miles, approximately 250 of which have been added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The 383ci V8 received a two-barrel carburetor from the factory. There are some small oil seepage around the engine.. An oil change was performed in November 2021, while the spark plugs, air filter, and fuel filters were replaced in September 2019.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a LoadFlite three-speed automatic transmission that received a fluid change and a replacement pan gasket in 2020. Additional photos of the underbody are viewable in the gallery below.

Additional disclosure: truck has an a/c compressor on the motor, but it is missing rest of system. Heater box is not connected. The new owner could get both functional with some parts, time and effort. Power steering hoses replaced last year and function properly but steering has some play as to be expected for vehicle if this age.other then that, truck functions well and is a real head turner. You can enjoy a leisurely drive or a run to home Depot. We thought about throwing a vintage camper on it, but could not find one we liked.
