Up for auction is our very RARE and original SURVIVOR 67 Dodge Monaco Wagon, it was only one of 1003 produced. This Wagon is very highly optioned from the factory with a window sticker price of $4983! This nearly 50-year-old wagon has definitely survived the test of time. It was sold new in San Jose, California and has spent much of its life in Kentucky, California and now in Colorado. Included, is a large folder of maintenance records dating back to the 1970’s, proving this car was mechanically maintained to a very high standard. It shows throughout the entire car, that it was always well taken care of and pride in ownership.
This cool wagon is very well optioned including; 383 Big Block Mopar Power, 727 Automatic transmission, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Seat, Power Door Locks, Power Rear Window, Air Conditioning, Dual Exhaust, Front Bumper Guards, Rear Bumper Steps, Tinted Glass and Roof Rack. It includes the original owner’s manual, window sticker, sales brochure, original keys with extras and maintenance paperwork.
Being in dry climates most of its life has allowed the car to stay relatively rust free. It does have some very lite spots behind the rear tires down very low. The rest of the car is solid including; the spare tire well, all floor pans, tail gate jamb and rockers. To our knowledge this wagon is all original paint, so there is nothing hidden as far as body work or rust goes. The paint is still really nice for original paint. There are a few small spots on the roof and hood that have worn through to primer. All of the vinyl wood paneling is perfect and looks great. The stainless trim, chrome bumpers and pot metal exterior parts are all very nice and bright without pitting. All of the glass is perfect with the door glass rolling up and down as expected in a low mileage car (including the power rear window).
The interior is all 100% original. The driver’s seat and carpet show some wear. The rest of the interior is very nice. The dash is beautiful without any cracks, all of the bright work is stunning and the instrument gauges are clean and crisp looking. The steering wheel is perfect with no cracks or splits. The headliner, door panels and seats are in great shape.
Everything in this car functions as it should except the A/C and fuel gauge. Working is the radio, speedo, door locks (3), power seat, power rear window, turn signals, lights, horn wipers etc.. This car has been upgraded in many ways for drivability, some of these items are; Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock 4BBL Carburetor, new Crane Cam and lifters, MSD spark plug wires with Mopar electronic ignition, aluminum 4 core radiator, new aluminized true dual exhaust, Mopar Rally wheels with newer Firestone Indy radial tires, new brakes, new rear leaf springs and good general maintenance.
If you are looking for a really cool old wagon that is ready to enjoy, then this is the car for you. Its ready to take you and your family anywhere you want to go. This wagon is very dependable and safe to drive. Its a classic that is sure to appreciate in value. I’ve been a eBay member since 2000 and have 100% feedback.
