Here we have a highly modified 1972 DeTomaso Pantera.
Prepared for racing this Pantera has been constructed with thousands of dollars of performance enhancements and uncounted hours of build time. Beginning with an aluminum SVO stroked 427 cu in engine with Eagle steel crank and connecting rods, ates aluminum heads and competition roller cam. No expense was spared on the power plant and traditional over-heating issues with the Pantera have been corrected with SCT oil pump, anton road race oil pan, emote oil cooler and aluminum radiator with heavy duty cooling fans. The ZF transaxle has been improved with Timken bearings and hydraulic throw-out bearings. The suspension has been improved with Koni shocks and stopping power provided by Wilwood brakes and rotors. Fire extinguisher system, -post roll cage and quick release steering provide for safety when driven on track days. Flared wheel arches have been added to accommodate 18x13 and 18x10 CCW Classic wheels and competition tires. An extra set of rain tires and wheels are included. (The badging suggests this is a Pantera GTS however the VIN shows that it is not in fact a GTS).
Stopping power is provided by Willwood Racing slotted rotors and calipers.
The trans-axle (transmission) was taken out, nspected for any internal damage which none was found and a brand new triple disc racing clutch, throw out bearing and slave has been installed. The only thing this car will need is a new set of tires. Depending on your preference we leave this up to whoever purchases the vehicle.
This Pantera represents a chance to own an Italian supercar for a fraction of the original investment cost. The car has not been tested on the dyno but we believe it puts down around 700bhp and enough torque to speed up the rotation of planet earth. With its mid engine configuration this is an absolute track Monster!

Need this gone to make room for other projects!
